отключить доступ к настройкам Thunderbird

Добрый день.
Информация разрозненная, не удалось пока решить этот вопрос.
Прошу посодействовать.
Необходимо отключить видимость пункта настройки Thunderbird или отключить активность редактирования настроек.
Это делается для единой настройки и блокировке возможности изменения пункта "синхронизация и хранение".
Если есть ссылка на мануал со всеми возможными настройками и доступными блокировками это тоже подойдет как ответ.
Интересуют только ответы по делу, без флуда пожалуйста.

да много времени прошло.
в общем, поставленная задача по простому не решается.
раньше был функционал через настройку "general.config.filename", но на последних версиях, он похоже не работает
Я вижу решение, если каким то образом при запуске Thunderbird выполнить скрипт

Как это сделать, уже другой вопрос. я бы написал отдельный плагин и просто поставил бы его всем.
